Do yourself

Your voice really will make a difference. Campaign pressure since September 2009 has influenced National Grid (see CAMPAIGN STORY SO FAR), so let’s keep telling National Grid what we want.

It is still many years until this connection is required to go live (2020? perhaps). A lot can change in that time. Regulations? Technology? Costs? Hurricanes? Who Research on Health effects of EMF? Other?

  1. Respond to National Grid’s consultations
National Grid will assume you no longer care, unless they hear from you. We know you do care very much, so please take a few minutes to let them know. And please ask every adult in your household to respond as well, volume really counts.

More details will appear here after National Grid’s announcement on 6 November 2012.

  2. Tell your Town Councillor, District Councillor and Dr. Liam Fox, MP what your views are:
    • Find your Nailsea Town Councillor here.
    • Find your North Somerset Councillor here and write to them.
    • Write to North Somerset MP Liam Fox:
      Dr Liam Fox MP
      House of Commons
      London SW1A 0AA
Or email him via his PA douglasi@parliament.uk (Mrs Ione Douglas)
  3. Get involved in the campaign
    • Sign up for email updates on the JOIN US page
    • Join our facebook group and make comments there.
